Spot ETH Fund Flow Data Shows Surprise Retail Surge
Registered investment advisers had been the dominant channel. New filings suggest direct retail participation is climbing faster than expected.

Quarterly holdings disclosures show a shift in the composition of spot ether fund ownership, with self-directed brokerage accounts accounting for a materially larger share than in prior periods.
Analysts caution that filings lag by up to 45 days and capture only a subset of holders, so the trend should be read as directional rather than precise.
Issuers have nonetheless begun adjusting distribution strategy, adding retail-facing education content and reducing minimum allocations on model portfolios.
